THE COMFORTER AT ROOM 1416

Yuriel finally saw Grace wondering around the hallway and flew over her. Go to Room 1416. The barrier was broken down.

Grace walked aimlessly and when he saw Paul, he held his hands and said, "I remember now, in my dream we went to Room 1416. We have to hurry."

Paul nodded as they both ran back to the fourteenth floor. When they arrived, hundreds of black spirits are crawling towards the door and through the wall.

The door opened.

The room was filled with black shadows and foul odor. It was dark not because there was no light, but because of the long strands of black hair moving all throughout the floor. It was from Judith's hair.

They saw her on her knees, holding Cara's right hand, she spoke in a hush, '"What I feared has come upon me, what I dreaded has happened to me. I have no peace, no quietness. I have no rest but only turmoil."

"What's happening?" Grace asked.

"Her shadow was taken into bondage," Paul explained. "Do not be afraid."

The walls and ceiling threw out wicked laughter as Judith continued to whisper incessantly.

Who dares to come? This woman is ours! She's ours!

"This woman's soul is not yours to take," Paul said as he drew the sword of the Spirit. "Surely, you spoke of things you do not understand, things too wonderful for you to know." He fell to his knee and listened closely as the spirits started to mock him.

Paul closed his eyes and raised his two hands, "I do not fear for you are with me. I am not dismayed for you are my God. Strengthen me and help me, uphold me with your righteous right hand."

In the darkness, he found a light and when he opened his eyes, he looked up the ceiling and threw his flaming swords there.

NOOO.... fallens started to scream. The ceiling started to shook and a deep resonant sound echoed from it. The chain on Judith's shadow made a loud snapping sound and ashes started to fall down to the floor. The dark shadows began to scatter all throughout the room. Fallens shivered and fled away.

When the legion left, Judith lost her consciousness and dropped to the floor. Grace and Paul prayed and fortified the room again. Zepar, the captain of the fallens who was outside the window gritted his teeth.

Grace gasped for air in disbelief. She looked around and everything returned to its normal state, like nothing had happened. When she saw Judith on the floor, she ran towards her. She held her hands and a vision came.

Judith sat on a chair, on her arms was a newborn baby wrapped in pink clothes. Ethan smiled and happily took the baby from her arms. When Judith turned around, she saw a little girl running towards her wearing a school uniform. She had black hair like Cara but her eyes are rounder like Ethan's. "Mama," the girl called her. Judith stood up and smiled. As she walked towards her, she saw the girl wearing a long white dress and beside her was a man in black tuxedo. They made their vows as Judith wiped the tears of joy coming out of her eyes.

"Grace!"

Grace's thoughts returned to the hospital room as Paul took Judith's hands and carried her to the couch.

"Its time," Paul said as he started to walk out of the room.

Grace nodded . She looked back once more to Judith and smiled before closing the door.  Just have a little faith, and you'll be fine.

When the two left, Yuriel entered the room. Cara opened her eyes and smiled when she saw him. One by one, little angels entered and flew back and forth, filling the room with laughter.

"Do you want to play, Cara?" one of the angels asked her. "I'll teach you how to fly."

Cara nodded and laughed.

Judith woke up, feeling a lot better like a nightmare just ended. The heavy burden on her shoulders gone. Again, she was surprised when she heard Cara laughing. "Are you okay baby?"

Cara turned to her and said, "Where's papa? Can you ask him if I can play with my friends?"

Before Judith could answer, Ethan entered the room with Doctor Scott and Michelle.

"P-papa! Papa!" she shouted grasping for breath. She hugged her father and smiled.

The doctor examined her and after awhile said, "I'm afraid this is the final dose we are giving her."

Ethan and Judith looked at each other. Doctor Scott instructed Michelle to prepare the medicine.

When the nurse left, the doctor turned back to Cara, "How do you feel?"

Cara smiled at him but didn't say anything. The angels started to sing and made Cara happy and calm.

"Papa, papa! Look, look at the angels, they're full of different colors" she said in high pitched voice, pointing at the ceiling while still grasping for air.

They all looked up and wondered.

"Can you get me one? Even just one! Please papa?"

Judith shook her head and cried. She placed her hands on her mouth while Ethan hugged her daughter. He was astounded and bowed his head. After a few minutes of silence, he whispered,  "It's okay Cara, you can go to Jesus now."

Upon hearing this, Cara reached for one angel as she slowly closed her eyes. The angel held her small fingers and said, "Let's fly Cara, let's fly. Let's go and play."

Her spirit left and traveled back to the Heavens as her soul held the angel's hands, together they flew away.

When nurse Michelle returned with the last dose of opiod, the line on the electrocardiograph machine went flat and made a continuous sound. Judith's cry echoed and reached the King's ears. The Spirit spread his wings and gave a divine embrace, comforting Ethan and Judith.

* * *

Paul and Grace stopped walking in the middle of an abandoned street. The wind felt cold in their face like a heavy storm was about to come. In front of them was Angel, the young girl with reptilian eyes and beside her was a figure of a man that was tall as nine feet. From his mouth, smoke came out to protect her human gateway.

The thunder violently roared and made deafening sounds. Grace looked up and above them she saw flashes of lightning in blue and red. It looked like two spirits clashing at each other. When she looked back down to Angel, she was amazed to see that behind her were legions of unclean spirits. Everyone seemed angry and restless. Amidst the noise, she heard the sound of numerous horses neighing and galloping. The sound was becoming closer and stronger so she looked behind her.

She turned around and saw thousands of burning chariots, with men in white linen. Their number was far more greater than the legions she saw in front of her.

Do not be afraid. I will never leave you, nor forsake you. She heard a voice louder than the thunders spoke and her knees almost lost their strength that she fell her face down the ground.

It must be a thrilling sound, but then again, the wind started to howl and the surge finally started.
